Good News Stories

“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. ”

It’s very easy to be downcast about what’s not happening in our part of the church – especially when everybody else appears to be doing so well! So here are some Good News Stories, real examples from local congregations who have started with an idea, an opportunity, a possibility and helped it to grow and develop into a sign of the Kingdom of God. They are worked examples of growing the local church.

Your situation will always be different from these – by a little or by a lot!  So these examples will not translate and transplant directly.  They are here to be an encouragement and as examples of what is possible, what is achievable, in circumstances which are similar to your own.
